ATO Fraternity partners with Our Lady of the Lake to Help Kids

The Founding Fathers of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity at Louisiana State University.

Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity (ATO) at Louisiana State University (LSU) has officially selected Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital for Baton Rouge, as its official charity.  The men of ATO have committed to raise funds throughout the year to support Our Lady of the Lake’s efforts to build a new freestanding children’s hospital and provide lifesaving care to critically ill and injured children across Louisiana.

ATO Signature Events Chair, Jeremy Bruhl said, “As an ATO, I wanted my brothers to get involved locally and give back to the Baton Rouge community.  I saw Children’s Miracle Network and Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital as the perfect place to get everyone involved.  I’m excited to connect my brothers to this amazing cause and truly say that we are one generation fighting for the next just doing anything we can to help the patients at Our Lady of the Lake.  Connecting the members of ATO and the kids at the children’s hospital is also the most exciting part for me personally.”

Alpha Tau Omega is known as America’s Leadership Development Fraternity because of its strong emphasis on preparing its members to be leaders on campus and in the community.  Over the past year, ATO donated more than the equivalent of $8.1 million to philanthropies and communities, holding true to the creed of ATO: ‘To have no narrower limits within which to work together for the elevation of man than the outlines of the world.’”
