Help Kids at Self-Checkout at Walmart

Next time you see this screen at the self checkout at Walmart, consider making a donation to help kids at Our Lady of the Lake Childrens Hospital.

This year, Walmart is celebrating it’s 30th anniversary of partnering with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across North America and invites all of its customers to donate to their local children’s hospital.  When you visit any of the 28 Greater Baton Rouge area Walmart Supercenter and Neighborhood Market stores, you can make a donation at the cash register when asked by a friendly Walmart associate, or you can now also make a donation at the self-checkout area.  When you see the prompt screen asking you if you would like to donate, think about how your donation could change the life of a local child, maybe a child you know.

All of the local donations from this year’s Walmart and Sam’s Club campaign will help build a brand new 350,000 square foot, freestanding children’s hospital that will serve the needs of children all across Louisiana.
