LSU Gymnastics visits new children’s hospital site

The LSU Gymnastics Team, currently ranked #2 in the nation, visited the new children’s hospital construction site and enjoyed a virtual reality tour of the new building.

The LSU Gymnastics team led by legendary coach, D.D. Breaux (second from left), recently visited the construction site of the new Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.

McKenna Kelly, member of the LSU Gymnastics team says “It was super encouraging to see the efforts going into the new children’s hospital. The staff seems so passionate. The virtual amenities they had for us to use and the blueprints seemed very thought out and advanced. LSU Gymnastics is proud supporters of Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.”

Lexie Priessman, LSU Gymnast said, “It was an incredible opportunity for us to see what is about to open up in our community for children that are battling illnesses. This is going to be not only a place where these kids get all the help they need to feel themselves again, but also an amazing place some children will call home. I am looking forward to visiting the new Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital when it opens.”

Thank you LSU Gymnastics for your continued support!  Geaux Tigers!
