2024 Local CMN Champion

Once just wasn’t enough! Back for his second year, please welcome Jensen as our 2024 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Champion! 

You may have seen him around town over the last year – in real life or in poster form advocating on behalf of Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. Jensen has been a patient of Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital for over 9 years. He first landed in our emergency department at just 7 months old with stridor and was diagnosed with spasmodic croup and severe acid reflux. Through all of this, Jensen has been so strong and wants to help kids just like him. When he grows up, he wants to become the CEO of his Children’s Hospital to continue the fight for supporting pediatric healthcare.

When asked what his favorite part of being the champion has been, Jensen replied “Meeting so many people and advocating for a great cause! Everything CMN does for kids like me makes me so happy!”
