On March 16, 2018, Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital honored Atticus Southall for serving as the 2018 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ Champion for the local hospital. Following the Champion Celebration at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, Atticus was honored additionally by having the opportunity to throw out the first pitch in front of more than 10,000 spectators at the Louisiana State University vs. University of Missouri Baseball Game, LSU’s SEC Season Opener.
