Miss Louisiana Brings Smiles to Our Lady of the Lake Kids
On Tuesday, August 8, 2017, Miss Louisiana 2017, Laryssa Bonacquisti, visited Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, going room to room bringing smiles and cheer to dozens of patients, their families, and the clinical staff. Bonacquisti, of Baton Rouge, LA, attends Louisiana State University, studying Mass Communication & Broadcast Journalism, with minors in Political Science and Geography. She has passionately supported Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, raising thousands of dollars for Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.
During her visit, Bonacquisti performed a ventriloquist routine with her friend, Waddles the Duck. She previously performed a ventriloquism routine during the Miss Louisiana competition.

Laryssa will compete in the 2018 Miss America Competition September 10 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The competition will be televised at 8pm CST on ABC.
