Meet Molly, Miracle Child!

One day, Molly and her family were at the park when she started climbing a tree that every kid in the neighborhood climbs. Being the adventurous spirit that Molly is, she went higher than what she was allowed and at that moment her parents stood up to tell her to get down, when she fell out of a 20 feet tree. She was taken to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital
Pediatric Emergency Department.

Molly sustained facial injuries, a broken femur and internal bleeding. Molly spent several days in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and a total of 15 days in the children’s hospital. Molly was able to recover from a trauma incident and went back to school that year. Her parents are grateful for Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital and say that Molly loved the hospital and the staff.
